Yahoo - the new mini starts today - and i got my pre-order delivered today too - so what better way to spend the night than to stamp, and as i needed a birthday card for tomorrow i just had to use the new set called "something sweet" - this is a very cool set, i think i will use this one lots.

I have been slack with my posts of late - but will endeavour to improve ( i think i said that in my last post hehehehe), but tis the silly season after all....... Hope everyone has a fab week, until next time..........

Hi, thought it was about time i did a challenge - it has been a while!!! I liked the colours this week, so took advantage of my Forest Friends stamp set that is about to retire and this is the first time i have used it........ i guess at least it has seen SOME ink...lol. This card seemed to take forever, i knew exactly what i wanted to do - but came together slowly - however - it's done and dusted now. Well it is been a looooong time - but i have finally got my butt into gear to blog, i haven't been doing much creating lately - life has just got in the way - as it does!!!!! On Monday night i went to Tracey's stamp club and we made this cool handbag - i actually gave it to my Mum today and filled it with choccy's for her as she hasn't been very well lately - She absolutely loved it!!!!

Anyway - i have to go and get organised my big boy is turning 8 tomorrow - where does the time go!!!!

Hi there, I know it's been a while but i am now back with Makeesha's sketch this week- i enjoyed doing this one - it came together quickly and easy!!! (love it when that happens). I have used sweet slumber specialty with so saffron and riding hood red c/s, good friend and short and sweet stamps, and so saffron ribbon from the free ribbon bundles last month!!!!

YAY school goes back tomorrow - reality check - that means i go back to work - no more sleep ins and cruisy mornings for another 10 weeks, small price to pay i guess for a bit of normality again!!!! Tracey's Purse

This is another fantastic creation from UStamp again - it is Tracey Old's invention - i love it. I have made this for my Aunty's birthday tomorrow and have filled it up with choccies for her!!!

I have used Sweet slumber dsp, riding hood red and baja breeze c/s and r h red taffeta ribbon, i really enjoyed making this - it was heaps of fun!!!!!

It has been a fantastic weekend her in the naki - we got lots of jobs done around the house - so roll on summer i say. I hope everyone has a fantastic week.

Well it has been a while!!!!!! But i am back - the next round of UStamp has started and it has got some fantastic projects - this being one of them - it's called a Notes and Treats box - you can put treats in the top and cards in the bottom drawer - i have made this for my younger boys school teacher as he is going into another class next term, i hope she likes it!!!!!

Well i had better fly and fold washing and put it away and do all the motherly and fatherly duties - hubby is away tonight so i am flying solo!!!!!

Mojo Monday #100 day 4

Well this was my second attempt at this sketch, i thought it was about time i went out of my comfort zone - colour wise and change things up a little!!!! I used Bella Rose dsp with corresponding c/s and brushed the dust off some felt flowers and button!!! hehehe!!!

What do you know - i got day 3 done too..... only because my little dude Jack is sick again today!!!! I don't like this card but like they say it is now done and dusted - tomorrow is another stampin day lol!!! I really liked yesterday's card so maybe it will be good card, bad card hehehe.

Hello, i have been majorly M.I.A for the last couple of weeks, have had no time to stamp and haven't been in the mood!!!! But now i am back and will hopefully make up for lost time - anyway thought i would start with Makeesha's challenge, to me the colours looked grey and white so i have gone with whisper white and basic grey, using urban garden dsp and hostess dsp with petal pizzaz and best yet stamp sets!!! i tried sooo many times to ink up the big flower properly but it just would not play the game today so i had to make do with the best of a bad bunch. Me n Mi Stamps Monday project #1.

I loved Amy's project last monday, i had to go straight to the warehouse to see if she had left any pails there for me!!!! hehehe. It was good timing as i have just got a new nephew and wanted to do something different for his gift, as you can see he is called Sam, i went to pumpkin patch to get him some goodies (as ya do!!!) and they happened to fit in a middle size pail - i have used urban garden dsp and the cool choo choo stamp set and put a letter of his name in each carriage of the train, and on the top of the pail i have used All in the Family stamp set (thanks Trace).

I absolutely loved this project - thanks Amy - you have some fantastic ideas - you rock!!!!!

Hi, i am back in blogging world tonight.... it has been a while!!! Loved the inspiration photo this week and inspiration it gave me, this is what i came up with. I LOVE this new stamp set CHOO CHOO out of the new mini so i could not resist but to use it.... i have used basic grey, so saffron c/s with retired dsp with taffeta ribbon and the new yummy corduroy buttons and new oval punch, the 'for you' is out of a great friend set also from the new mini - so as you can see most things on this card are NEW NEW NEW!!!!! - can you tell i got a package from the courier yesterday - lol!!!! Right now it is time to go and clean up my mess and hit the hay i think -

Yes - shock horror - 2 posts in one day - unheard of for me - normally struggle to do 2 posts in one week!!! lol!!! Decided to tackle mojo monday as my boys are having some chill time in front of the tv!!!! I don't like this card - something is not quite right.... While i was at Tracey's on Saturday night i got this challenge done too, i have turned the sketch on its side because i wanted to use the bird out of "always" set, have used regal rose, choc chip and whisper white c/s, sweet always DSP and some yummy buttons out if Button Latte! I like this card, i haven't really used regal rose before - i am not really a pink person so decided to branch out of my comfort zone!!! YAY - All my new yummy goodies arrived today, lots of new dsp and lots and lots of embellishments - YUM!!!! So i had to use my new stuff straight away (as ya do) i needed to make some thankyou gifts so this was a great excuse!!!! Have used Not quite Navy, and so saffron ink and cardstock with bella blue dsp and the yummy so saffron striped ribbon!!! Sorry the photo's are quite bad today -but you get the idea. FINALLY....... I managed to get some challenges done! This week is panning out to be busy and hectic, have had my youngest off school the last 2 days - which means no work for me, have had a week of meetings and busy busy times!!! - such as life!!!! Anyhow back to the challenges - decided to combine mojo and Kwerner today to make life easier, i have used summer sun, basic black, pacific point, riding hood red and whisper white cardstock and inks, have versamarked summer sun card with seeing spots stamp set (thought i had better pull this one out of the dark to see some ink LOL), and have used good morning sunshine dsp and of course RH red ribbon.

Well what do you know.... i finally got some stamping done!!!! I have finished TWILIGHT and then watched the movie, so thought i had better update my blog - it has been a while!!!

Decided to go outside my comfort zone today and use colours that i don,t normally use ( as in stay away from choc chip LOL). I used the new in colours - pacific point, baja breeze and pink pirouette ink and card stock, good morning sunshine dsp, priceless and like it a latte stamp sets, i know latte has retired but i really wanted to use it!!!! Kwerner Challenge # 50

Hi, well i seriously dithered with this card, this was my 3rd attempt at it so 3rd time lucky (i hope) i used Bali Breeze DP (forgot it had retired - nevermind) eastern blooms and one of a kind stamp sets, flower fusion 1 & 2 and so saffron buttons out of button latte, colours are rose red, choc chip, so saffron, whisper white and tempting turquiose, i really did not want to add that turquoise ribbon, but its the only thing i had in that colour (apart from cardstock) so however i hope it doesn't look that "out there"?. I well and truly used lots of different embellishments today!!!! Well roll on tomorrow - kids back to school and me back to work, i have enjoyed the holidays but will be pleased to get back into routine, i have really missed working( as dumb as that sounds) but as it is my first proper job in 7yrs i am loving it!!!!!!! I have finally made it back to blogging world yay!!!! I thought i would have lots of time in the holidays to stamp but turns out i haven't as it is all about the kiddlies of course and keeping them happy, they don't really want to watch mum stamping... LOL. So anyway i needed to make a birthday card for my cousin's little boy who turned 2 today, so decided to use mojo monday for it, i used tangerine tango and pacific point cardstock with good morning sunshine DSP, i am loving the new in colours, my original plan was to stamp the chicken out of Good Friend stamp set but after cutting up all the card stock i realised that the chicken wouldn't fit (doh) so had to settle for the lion out of wild about you, love the new in-colour ribbons too (thanks Trace).

When i first saw these colours i thought yuck!!! Well i have been missing in action!!! It has been 6 days, nevermind i am back now - i have just started a new job this week so i am finding a routine, unfortunately my creating time has been left till last but i found some time this afternoon and got 3 challenges done, mojo monday being the first, i had to make another birthday card so used this for it. I have used chocolate chip, very vanilla and kiwi kiss card stock and the new DSP called Good Morning Sunshine, i used eastern blooms and short and sweet stamps and used flower fusion (which are old olive but extremely similar to kiwi kiss). I have got 2 more cards to post but will leave them till tomorrow!!!

Well it's been awhile since my last post so thought i had better get my act together today, decided to do this challenge as i had to make a card for a friends daughter turning 6 and thought these colours were ideal for this, so here it is, not really liking this card alot, have used time well spent stamp set (hostess 08-09) and have stamped best wishes out of short and sweet in pretty in pink ink but it hasn't photographed well!!! Hi there, well this card has certainly challenged me!!!! I like the choice of colours (or no colours) but i only have the black ink pad so was slightly limited, this was my 3rd attempt at this card, wanted to go for an elegant look but wasn't working so went with this!!!!

Have used Garden Whimsey stamp set, and scallop edge punch, i am really liking that punch at the moment!!! Right - now i will have some lunch and find some inspiration for the next challenge!!

Not sure about this card, sitting on the fence about this one but however this is what i came up with. I used polka dot punches stamp set, using sky blue on the 2nd heart but it hasn't photographed very well, and i found some random heart brads to go with it!!!

Colour Throwdown

Well here is another card that i am not 100% happy with, first time i have used Barely Banana and regal rose, and i only have pretty in pink stamp pad, so i was limited but gave it a go, i am actually going to use this card for my friend's daughter who is turning 3 on saturday as it is a girly girl card. I have used Garden Whimsey stamp set and For a friend stamp set that you can't actually see very well i did it in versamark, i also used some jewellery wire to make the butterfly attenna's just for effect. All in all i have had a productive afternoon even though i'm not completely happy with 2 of them, however its another day tomorrow!!!! I think we are in for a WET long weekend, oh how sad - just an excuse to escape to my craft room and stamp!!!!

I am not really liking this card, i wanted to use colours that i don't normally go for, and this is what i came up with. I used Taken with Teal, ruby red and whisper white cardstock, bali breeze DSP and polka dot punches stamp set and short and sweet stamp set. Looking at this card now i am sure there is something missing about it but its done and dusted now, on to the next one!!!!

Hello, my afternoon was spent in my craftroom catching up on all the challenges for this week, after looking at this one i knew exactly what stamp set i was going to use- i LOVE these colours together, i am sooo disappointed that 'Like it a Latte" stamp set is retiring - i have only just got it, so i could not pass up this opportunity to use it. I have used versamark with the Baroque wheel on the close to cocoa and pretty in pink card, and i made use of my new scallop edge punch too!!! with a little bit of puff paint for effect!!! Hope you like it!!!! Right now i need to oublish the next 2 challenges that i have done.

Wedding Anniversary

I seem to be on a roll making cards at the moment!!! This card is for my brother and his lovely wifes first wedding anniversary today, i can't believe its been a year already, and more exciting is that they have a little bundle of joy on the way (their first) - hence the cutie teddy bear that i brought for my soon to be neice or nephew, it is the cutest bear i have seen, i can tell i am going to be such a sucker of an aunty when bubs is born especially if its a girl as i have boys and i only have nephews too!!!!! But as long as bubs is healthy and happy it doesn't matter if its a boy or girl. I have used very vanilla, choc chip and old olive cardstock with matching DSP and have used the cherish out of baroque motifs and the flower out of eastern blooms stamp set and of course flower fusions.

Hi, i finally did this challenge and to be completely honest i really dithered over this card, and not sure if i am completely happy with it, i am not used to using so many colours in one card, but i gave it a go, now i know elephants are not green with blue ears and birds are not red but i just played with this one, i struggled with brocade blue as i only have the card stock of this colour but not the stamp pad as yet so i used my versamark on cardstock.

Hello, i have finally done a challenge yay!!!!!! I really enjoyed doing this challenge it is a chance to build up my card collection!!! I have used choc chip (my all time fav colour) and groovy guava card stock with some DSP added in there and baroque motifs stamps and the wild about you from obviously wild about you stamp set. I have done my pictures around the wrong way but nevermind - i shall know for next time.

Just a few thankyou cards i have made lately, this one is using elegant eggplant, old olive and whisper white cardstock with baroque motifs stamp set and flower fusions which i am loving at the moment, and i used a random brad that i found in my collection.

This one is using Pumpkin Pie,and rose red card stock with bali breeze DSP, the stamped flower is out of Eastern Blooms and flower fusions again!!!, the thankyou is from short and sweet.

Hi, and welcome to my first post. This was a gift i made for my Neighbour for her Birthday today, I have used the Wild About you stamp set and paper tolled out the giraffe and lion, and have just realised that i used DSP that is now retired (i am new to this game lol!!!).

Sorry the photo's are not that great, i need a lot more practice with this blogging business, but thanks to Tracey i am finally up and running. So please bare with me and hopefully i will improve my blogging skills.
